Fees & Medicare Rebates

Standard 50-min session is $240.

Cancellation policy

To ensure a sustainable practice, there is a 24 hour notice period required to change or cancel an existing appointment. As you can imagine, it is very difficult to replace a session at short notice. Whilst we can make efforts to replace sessions with another client on our standby list, this is not always possible. In the event a session is not able to be replaced, a cancelation fee equivalent to the standard fee (i.e., $240) will apply. Client's will not be able to re-book until all fee's are paid. Future sessions may be cancelled if there are outstanding fees owing.

Medicare Rebates
If you have referral from your GP will be eligible to claim a Medicare rebate of $141.85 for a 50 minute consultation, up to a maximum of 10 sessions per calendar year. You can also be referred by a Psychiatrist or a Paediatrician. A Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) requires that you return to your referrer at the completion of each block of allocated sessions for a Medicare Review. This typically occurs after the 6th sessions in the calendar year.
For client's using a MHCP, it is a Medicare requirement that the session is at least 50-mins long in order to claim the rebate. Thus clients who are running late to their appointment, may not be eligible for a rebate.

Health Fund Rebates

If you have private health insurance you may be covered for Psychological services. Please check with your health fund to see what you’re covered for.

Please note you are unable to claim from Medicare and your health fund for the same consultation.

Payment Terms
Fees are due at the end of the session. We accept cash, direct debit and credit cards.
